Rascal Does Not Dream Film Drops Preview, Finale Arrives Oct 16

The Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend film just released its opening four minutes online—a preview of what's billed as the conclusion to Hajime Kamoshida's series. The full film hits Japanese theaters on October 16, following an advance screening already held at Shinjuku Wald 9 in Tokyo.

Director Sōichi Masui returns at CloverWorks to helm the finale, with the returning cast including Kaito Ishikawa and Asami Seto. There's a sweetener for early adopters: fans who catch the film in its first week will receive a bonus new text story written by Kamoshida himself.
