Hiragi-san's House of Vampires Gets Anime Adaptation

Miki Yoshikawa's manga Hiragi-san's House of Vampires is heading to television. UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS will handle production of the anime adaptation.

The manga launched in October 2021 in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine and has accumulated six collected volumes to date. English readers can access the series through Kodansha's K MANGA service, which means the adaptation arrives with an existing international audience already in place—a practical advantage for any studio betting on a show's reach.

Yoshikawa's track record suggests the material has legs. The premise—vampires and domestic comedy—sits in a sweet spot between supernatural intrigue and the kind of character-driven humour that tends to translate well to animation. Six volumes is a solid foundation for a first season without feeling overstuffed, which matters when you're building a new anime from manga source material.

No air date or additional production details have been announced yet.
