Bungo Stray Dogs: DEAD APPLE Returns to Theaters for 10th Anniversary

Bungo Stray Dogs: DEAD APPLE returns to 30 theaters across Japan on December 25, 2026, marking the 10th anniversary of the TV anime series. Online advance tickets open October 18 through December 24.

The screening pairs with a collaboration featuring the Dazai Osamu Memorial Museum in Aomori, running January 23 to April 18, 2027. The partnership includes special exhibitions, a stamp rally, and a talk show. The tie-in makes sense: the series draws its cast and narrative from real literary figures, Dazai chief among them.

ABEMA is streaming the third season of Bungo Stray Dogs starting October 19, keeping the franchise visible ahead of the film's return. For a series built on supernatural ability users colliding with classical Japanese literature, a museum collaboration feels like the natural extension of the premise.
