Wound & Bandage Anime Lands January 2027 Premiere Date
The anime adaptation of Wound & Bandage is officially set for January 2027.
The anime adaptation of Wound & Bandage (Kizuguchi to Hotai) is officially coming January 9, 2027. J.C.Staff is handling production under director Miyuki Ishida, with Susumu Yamakawa composing the series and Natsuki Ōyama on character design.
The original manga, written by Riyo Washizu and illustrated by Gō Kiritani, has been serialized in Kodansha's Comic Days app since August 2024 and has already accumulated five volumes. The teaser announcement marks the first concrete timeline for the adaptation, signaling that the project is moving into active production.
With J.C.Staff's track record and a creative team in place, the series is positioned for a solid adaptation. The January 2027 slot gives the studio over a year to refine the production—a reasonable window for a manga-to-anime conversion that's still relatively fresh source material.
