The second season of Skip & Loafer is officially coming in April 2027, according to a new promotional video released by P.A.WORKS. The studio has locked in the core creative team: director and scriptwriter Kotoni Deai returns, character designer Manami Umeshita is back, and composer Michiru will handle the soundtrack again.
The first season landed on Crunchyroll in simulcast, and the sequel will maintain that distribution pipeline. The series, which began serialization in 2018 in Kadonasha's Monthly Afternoon magazine under writer Misaki Takamatsu, has clearly earned its renewal—a solid vote of confidence for a school comedy-drama that actually nails the emotional beats alongside the laughs.
