Apothecary Diaries Season 3 Lands October 2, 2027—With yorushika's New Theme

The Apothecary Diaries is coming back. Season 3 premieres October 2, 2027, and the production just dropped a new trailer, key visual, and the opening theme song to prove it.

The opening track, "Kumo o Nukekazashimo e Watashidake," comes from yorushika—a solid get for a series that's already built serious momentum. The trailer also introduced Reina Ueda to the cast as Bai Niangniang, expanding the roster for what's shaping up to be another substantial run.

The third season will air in NTV's "Friday Anime Night" programming block, hitting the network and 29 affiliated channels. That's the same slot that's carried the show's earlier seasons, so expect the same reach and visibility.

If you can't wait until October, there's a film coming: The Apothecary Diaries: The Deceased Empress' Treasure opens in theaters December 11. It's a theatrical side story that'll tide fans over before the new season lands.
