Naoko Takeuchi is bringing all ten Sailor Guardians together in newly colored artwork for a limited collaboration between FamilyMart and Meiji that kicks off October 13, 2026.

The campaign centers on five double-sided clear files, each featuring fresh color illustrations by Takeuchi herself. Fans can grab one by purchasing two eligible Meiji chocolate products at participating FamilyMart locations in Japan—the lineup includes Galbo, Meltykiss Premium Chocolate, Almond Chocolate, Macadamia Chocolate, Kinoko no Yama, and Takenoko no Sato.

The promotion runs through October 26, so there's a two-week window to collect the full set. Since there are five files and ten guardians, the double-sided format means you're looking at all of Usagi's crew: Sailor Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Chibi Moon, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Saturn.

For a franchise that's been culturally massive since the '90s, these regional tie-ins keep Sailor Moon in everyday rotation—especially when it's Takeuchi herself providing new artwork. The clear files are practical enough to actually use, which means fans aren't just collecting; they're carrying the series around.

If you've been waiting on new Takeuchi content, this is a genuine pull. The catch is geography—this one's Japan-only for now, which means international collectors will be keeping an eye on whether these show up on the secondary market.
