Peacock is taking audiences back to the early seventies with Crystal Lake, a prequel series that will trace the origins of one of horror's most enduring franchises by focusing on Pam Voorhees and the tragedy that set everything in motion. Linda Cardellini has been cast as Pam Voorhees, stepping into a role originally played by Betsy Palmer in the original Friday the 13th films.
