KonoSuba Season 4 Heads to Studio ENGI, Arriving 2027
KonoSuba Season 4 is set for 2027, with Studio ENGI taking over animation.
KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World is getting a fourth season, and it's coming in 2027 with a new studio at the helm. Studio ENGI will take over animation duties from the previous production teams, with Takaomi Kanasaki as chief director and Manabu Kurihara directing.
This marks a shift for the franchise, which has cycled through multiple studios across its anime run—Studio DEEN, Studio Drive, and J.C. Staff have all had a hand in bringing Natsume Akatsuki's light novel adaptation to screen. The original series, illustrated by Kurone Mishima, spawned multiple spin-offs and anime adaptations over the years, making it one of the more prolific comedy-fantasy properties in recent memory.
The announcement includes a new key visual, though details on cast, plot, or episode count remain under wraps. A 2027 release means fans have a wait ahead, but it also signals the franchise isn't done yet—and that Studio ENGI believes there's still mileage in Kazuma's increasingly chaotic adventures with Aqua and company.
