Avengers & X-Men assemble at Hall H for Avengers: Doomsday

... and Deadpool!
Ryan Reynolds is suiting up again—literally. The actor will reprise his role as Deadpool in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, with the confirmation coming straight from San Diego Comic Con 2026 during Marvel's panel. Reynolds showed up in character, which meant exactly what you'd expect: comedic chaos and audience interaction that only Deadpool can deliver.
Hayley Atwell is also returning to the MCU as Peggy Carter in the same film, marking a significant addition to the ensemble cast. The Russo Brothers, Joe and Anthony, who are directing Doomsday, confirmed that filming has already wrapped.
One detail that landed hard: Deadpool's getting a visual refresh. Reynolds joked about his new grey suit, calling it his "Canadian tuxedo"—a callback to his own nationality that fits the character's irreverent brand of humor perfectly.
Feige also unvealed a new poster for the Avengers: Doomsday and brought together most of the cast in another epic panel at San Diego Comic Con.
