Originally starting as a novel in 2013, the series has expanded over the years. The 12th novel was published on February 20, 2020, and the manga adapted from the light novels began serialization in 2016. The anime first premiered in January 2017, and it also saw a feature film release in February 2019.

Fans of the series can expect a gripping storyline as it follows Tanya Degurechaff, a skilled soldier in a war-torn world, combining intense aerial battles with elements of strategy and survival.
