Kadokawa has greenlit a TV anime adaptation of Noa-senpai wa Tomodachi., Enma Akiyama's manga about workplace romance and friendship at a game company.

The story centers on Rihito Ōtsuka, an employee navigating office life, and Noa Saotome, an art director who becomes both mentor and something more. Akiyama launched the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump in 2023, building a following with its blend of comedy and genuine character development.

Shinsuke Yanagi is directing the anime at feel, with Keiichirō Ōchi handling series scripts and Yumiko Yamamoto on character design. The creative team brings solid credentials to what could be a charming adaptation of a manga that's found its audience in the years since debut.
