Marvel's Ultimate Universe to Conclude in April 2026
Marvel's Ultimate Universe will conclude in April 2026.
Marvel Comics has officially revealed at the New York Comic Con that their Ultimate Universe will finish in April 2026 with the release of Ultimate Endgame.
Ending the Ultimate Line
Previously speculated, it has been confirmed that Ultimate Endgame #1, set for publication on December 31, 2025, will signal the dramatic conclusion of the current incarnation of the Ultimate Universe. This decision was reportedly made three years ago when Jonathan Hickman took over the project from Donny Cates.
Current State of the Ultimate Universe
The existing titles within the Ultimate Universe are unfolding in real-time. The plot navigates a world orchestrated by the Maker, an alternate version of Reed Richards who has rewritten many superheroes' origins. The Maker's reign has resulted in major global shifts, including the deaths of the Fantastic Four and a power struggle underscored by his manipulation.
The Maker's Return
Trapped by Howard Stark for two years, the Maker is now set to re-emerge, creating a tumultuous scenario where heroes across the Ultimate Universe must join forces to confront him as chaos looms over the world.
