Ichigo Aika: Strawberry Elegy manga becomes an anime in 2026!
Suiseisha has announced that the popular adult manga, Ichiko Aika: Zatsu de Namaiki na Imōto to Warikirenai Ani, created by writer Hirafumi and artist Yagi Shinba, is set to receive an adaptation as an AnimeFesta television series, scheduled for release in 2026. According to the show's official X/Twitter account, the English title will be Ichigo Aika: Strawberry Elegy.
The narrative focuses on Kōta and his new step-sister Aika, whose first encounter drastically alters Kōta's perception of her. Initially captivated by Aika's beauty, Kōta soon discovers her unruly and sharp-tongued personality, which complicates their sibling relationship while their parents are not around. However, the dynamic shifts as Aika begins to appreciate Kōta’s caring nature, leading to unexpected developments.
The full-color manga has been digitally published through CLLENN's adult comic label, DEDEDE, on the Comic Cmoa platform. It was initially made available for individual purchase starting in November 2022 and has been compiled into three digital volumes as of Friday.
AnimeFesta is recognized for producing adaptations of over 25 manga, many of them adult-themed, over the last six years. Celebrated titles include On a Lustful Night Mingling with a Priest, which marked the launch of the AnimeFesta series. Typically, these adaptations feature both a censored and an uncensored version.
