Fans of Haikyu!! are getting a major reason to celebrate. The third art exhibition dedicated to Haruichi Furudate's beloved volleyball manga is coming to Japan, and it's bringing fresh artwork directly from the creator's hands.

The "Furudate Haruichi Haikyu!! Exhibition Challengers" opens October 30, 2026, at the Mori Arts Center Gallery in Roppongi Hills, running through January 11, 2027. The exhibition centers on new key visuals and original illustrations by Furudate himself, with a thematic focus on the characters' growth and journeys throughout the series.

It's not just a static gallery experience. Visitors will have access to tickets and exclusive merchandise, including a signed players card set—the kind of collectible that turns casual fans into dedicated hunters. The exhibition is designed to celebrate what makes Haikyu!! resonate with its audience: the transformation of its characters as they push toward their goals.

The reach extends beyond Tokyo. After its initial run in Roppongi, the exhibition travels to Osaka from April 24 to June 20, 2027, followed by a planned summer 2027 stop in Sendai. This multi-city tour suggests organizers expect serious demand—and given Haikyu!!'s fanbase, that's a safe bet.

For those unfamiliar, Haikyu!! has been a cornerstone of sports manga since its serialization began in 2012. The series follows Hinata Shoyo and Kageyama Tobio as they navigate competitive volleyball, building a narrative that balances genuine athletic tension with character development that extends far beyond the court. The manga's influence has only grown with anime adaptations and a recent film, making this exhibition timely for both longtime readers and newer fans discovering the series.
