Expelled from Paradise Gets Sequel Film, Trailer Drops Now
The sequel to the 2014 anime film, Expelled from Paradise, just dropped a new trailer.
A new trailer has landed for Rakuen Tsuihō -Expelled from Paradise- Kokoro no Resonance, a sequel to the 2014 anime film that's heading to Japanese cinemas on November 13, 2026.
Director Seiji Mizushima is back at the helm, joined by writer Gen Urobuchi and character designer Masatsugu Saito. Composer NARASAKI handles the score. Sumire Morohoshi voices the character Penem.
The original Expelled from Paradise landed over a decade ago—this follow-up suggests the franchise still has life in it, at least enough to warrant a full theatrical release and a fresh creative push. Whether the new film will expand the story or pivot to something different remains to be seen from the trailer alone.
