Everyone's Darling Has a Secret Gets TV Anime in April 2027

The manga Hokago no Idol ni wa Himitsu ga Aru is getting an anime adaptation, arriving in April 2027. Gekko studio will produce the series under director Hikaru Sato.

The story tracks Hizashi Hiruno, a student, and Rei Kuromiya, an idol, as they study together in secret—a premise that lands squarely in the romance-meets-slice-of-life space that's been quietly thriving in manga for the past few years. The original manga, written and illustrated by Kashiko Amane, started serialization in September 2022, so the source material has had time to build a solid foundation.

The voice cast includes Reiji Kawashima and Hikaru Tono. That's the confirmed roster so far, which means we're still waiting on the full cast announcement—standard practice this far out from premiere.
